Job Title: Regional Business Manager (Loans)

Locations: Lagos Island, Mainland – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Regional manager at Alert MFB is responsible for leading and managing daily operations to achieve business goals and maximize profitability.
  • As a regional manager, your duties also include guiding market facing staff in your region, setting performance objectives, evaluating and optimizing operational performance, ensuring regulatory and company standards are upheld, and preparing operations and loan portfolio reports.

Responsibilities

  • Achieving business goals and revenue targets.
  • Manage and oversee our business operations in an assigned region.
  • Overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives.
  • Ensuring products and services comply with regulatory and quality standards.
  • Ensuring company standards and procedures are followed.
  • Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, analyses, and reports of operations and finances.
  • Dealing with escalated customer issues, incident reports, and legal actions.
  • Recruiting, training, and supporting general managers as well as conducting regular performance appraisals.
  • Developing and implementing business, marketing, and advertising plans.
  • Managing internal and external stakeholder relations and negotiating contracts.
  • Planning, evaluating, and optimizing operations to be efficient and cost-effective.

Requirements

  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing or a similar field preferred.
  • Mininimum of 3/5 Cognate years of management and leadership experience.
  • Excellent reporting and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have wide networks of customer base with track records of huge volume loan disbursement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and project management tools.

Job Title: Experienced Loan Marketer

Locations: Lagos Island, Mainland – Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Experienced Loan Marketers at Alert Microfinance Bank are responsible for the evaluation and processing of loans and act as liaison between customers and the organization while helping qualified applicants acquire huge loans in a timely manner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Market loan products and process loan applications for SME, Public and Private Sectors.
  • Interview loan applicants to determine financial eligibility and feasibility of repayment of loans.
  • Determine all applicable ratios and metrics and set up loan payment plans.
  • Complete loan contracts and counsel clients on policies and restrictions.
  • Opening loan applications Conducting loan analysis by visiting the business and household of clients
  • Visiting the business /employer of guarantors and preparing a complete loan assessment according to the bank’s credit procedures.
  • Presenting loan proposals to the credit units and informing the client about the decision of the credit units.
  • Ensuring punctual repayments of acquired loans from clients, contacting and visiting all parties based on needs.
  • Ensuring high quality standards of the bank’s credit portfolio.
  • Ability to meet and exceed targets while actively working to increasing business portfolio and client’s base.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc. or its equivalent in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years cognate experience from a reputable Microfinance Bank.
  • Sound Risk Management experience and can disburse/deliver a Min of 20million Naira Loan Monthly with good success rate and track records.
  • Good knowledge of Lagos Island and Mainland markets.
  • Ability to disburse SME, Public and Private Loans in large volumes without default.
  • Experienced in repayment tracking and loan collection without a day default.

Job Title: Digital Transformation Manager – FinTech

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Head of Fintech at Alert Microfinance Bank is a critical role and the idea candidate will be responsible to lead a team of tech-savvy experts, drive and execute the bank digital transformation projects.

Job Responsibilities
Digital Transformation Process:

  • Drive and execute the bank digital transformation projects.
  • Effective and efficient electronic card management for web and mobile payment channels.
  • Management of excellent service delivery across the network.
  • Development and implementation of operations digitalization
  • Foster a lasting and seamless relationship with electronic service providers: NIBSS, Interswitch, etc
  • Identify friction points for Fintech and market sales teams in prospecting, pitching, onboarding and growing new business.
  • Set standards for the client experience and work with Client Services, Risk, Operations, Sales and Finance to ensure they are met.
  • Lead the development of frameworks and content centrally that can be repeatedly used by market sales teams (Risk management, category prioritization and sales collaterals):
  • Work with the Risk team to manage the risk of the portfolio to ensure the integrity of the ecosystem while balancing client needs for speed.

Leadership, Planning & Communication:

  • Develop strategic and operational plans for Fintech business, leading thought leadership on the value of Fintech to the broader business.
  • Lead a team of specialists on transactional banking offerings.
  • Coordinate the electronics banking business of the company.
  • Work with the management team to structure their Cluster Fintech sales teams.
  • Report and interact with senior management to indicate the status of Fintech deal progress. Bringing a commercial lens to the performance of Fintech in the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum of B.Sc or HND in a related role.
  • Minimum 5 years of Cognate experience as Head of FINTECH is a MUST.
  • Extensive experience in the payments / fintech / banking / telecoms or related technology industry with experience of operating in a Microfinance Bank System.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates ability to identify problems.

  • Software Development. It may seem a somewhat generic point when you compare software development to other more niche skills that are in demand.
  • Proficient in Digital Transformation.
  • Cybersecurity and blockchain proficiency
  • Developments and the drive for Automation.
