Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated ​​Digital Marketing Executive who will champion our digital sales strategy across all sales channels from cold emails to social media.
  • By crafting great promotional content, social media campaigns, and blog posts to showcase our company’s unique value proposition you will position StarBox technologies as the technology partner of choice.

Your Specific Actions

  • Digital Marketing – Champion our digital sales strategy across all sales channels from cold emails to social media. Craft great promotional content, social media campaigns, and blog posts to showcase our company’s unique value proposition.
  • Content writing – Drafting and owning great copy-writing for a variety of sales channels and websites. You will embody our corporate voice and communicate with our customers and users.
  • Technology Sales – Influencing client technology decisions by displaying empathy and sound technical knowledge to support the design of solutions to achieve our customer’s business outcomes.


  • Design and carry out digital marketing campaigns and provide reporting and insight on progress, status and response on content performances and analytics, marketing campaigns etc.
  • Grow technically by participating in technical trainings to enable you to market and sell our cloud and cybersecurity offerings.
  • Launch and develop, manage and maintain our social media accounts (including but not limited to LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube).
  • Responsibility for accurate, engaging communications both customer-facing and internal that ensure the customer’s journey is aligned and consistent across various marketing channels.
  • Work closely with external and internal clients to deliver daily/weekly engaging and consistent written content for social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn e.t.c.), web, email and display advertising channels.
  • Find ways to constantly grow brand awareness, customer reach and increase the quality of content created for all sales channels, especially the website and social media channels.
  • Conduct continual analysis of customers and competitor activity both onsite and across digital marketing channels, as well as the key market trends, new regulations and developments.

Core Requirements

  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree and have an exceptional grasp of written English, spelling and grammar. Able to write flawless, error-free and informative copy.
  • Understand the SEO requirements of online content, and be able to apply that understanding to copy editing material.
  • A dedication to flawless customer service, with experience of creating great moments for customers.
  • Demonstrable flair for technology and knowledge of cloud computing would be an advantage.
  • They must also have prior experience in Digital Marketing, SEO, Social Media Marketing and Content Writing, with a strong willingness to learn about cloud computing and digital transformation.
  • Familiar with campaign, affiliate and influencer marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrable ability to bring creative ideas to life while displaying incredible attention to detail and a sense of ownership over quality.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to create, plan and manage digital content and initiate new digital sales strategies

Technical Requirements:

  • Competent with G-suite and Microsoft Office, especially Google Docs.
  • Good knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics & Mailchimp.
  • Knowledge of content editing in WordPress CMS is desirable.
  • You have a reliable laptop/PC and access to fast internet.

What to expect from us

  • We’ll pay a base salary between N50,000 – N65,000 monthly depending on your experience, you can expect your pay to go up as you take up more projects.
  • Performance and yearly bonuses.
  • The role is fully remote and we’re open to flexible schedules.
  • Three weeks annual leave.
  • Percentage-based sales commissions.

Our Hiring Process
We have a 2-part hiring process that includes a digital marketing case study and then a video interview:

  • Case Study: In order to qualify for the position, you complete a digital marketing case study to showcase your critical thinking and digital marketing skills.
  • Interview: The interview is more personal in nature and focuses on behavioural and people skills.


  • Please note that your application may include a portfolio PDF that demonstrates your experience in digital marketing and/or social media content management.
